Jimmy Eat World Are Playing Soundwave Festival 2010

Whoa; after years of rumor, speculation and disappointment – Jimmy Eat World are finally coming to Australia and playing Soundwave Festival 2010 in mid February 2010. It is only literally a couple of weeks or so until Soundwave Festival begins and Jimmy Eat World are apparently replacing My Chemical Romance who have dropped out of the festival, although it hasn’t been announced yet.

TUES 23 February – Sydney, UNSW Roundhouse
THURS 25 February – Melbourne, Palace Theatre
FRI 26 February – Melbourne, Soundwave Festival
SAT 27 February – Adelaide, Soundwave Festival
MON 1 March – Perth, Soundwave Festival

There are going to be a lot of refunds; but at least the absence of My Chemical Romance (if true) will help reduce the population of 14 year old Emo kids who think My Chemical Romance is the best band in the world.
